DiaPac™ carbide supported wire die blanks consist of diamond particles integrally bonded into a tungsten carbide ring under high pressure / high temperature. This product offers high strength, uniform hardness and multi-directional wear resistance. The cobalt filled diamond microstructure is electrically conductive so the diamond core may be pierced using either EDM, laser, or conventional needle methods.
